Chris Bishop named CEO at BillingPlatform
The executive was formerly Conga’s chief customer officer.

BillingPlatform has plucked its new CEO from the customer success world. The enterprise monetization company (businesses in this space tend to offer everything from digital invoicing to automated billing and usage-based services) has announced that Chris Bishop will take the helm, replacing Dennis Wall who will remain on its board of directors.
Bishop joins BillingPlatform with over 20 years of experience in enterprise software, including his most recent position as chief customer officer for revenue software company Conga (the contract life cycle management company joined the ever-expanding group of businesses hiring CROs in 2025).
Bishop’s résumé includes his work on PeopleSoft’s postmerger integration with Oracle (the hostile takeover began in 2003 and concluded in 2004).
Accelerating growth
Bishop joins the Denver-based company at a time of growth. According to the company, BillingPlatform has achieved over 500% revenue growth in the last five years and counts companies like JP Morgan, DirecTV, and Panera as customers.
“From a market and customer perspective, I have seen the impact BillingPlatform delivers for global enterprises looking to track, bill, and monetize complex combinations of products and services as business models evolve,” Bishop said in a statement. The ascension from chief customer officer to CEO is a notable one and corresponds with the idea that CEO candidates might more regularly come from further afield than the traditional CFO or COO cohort. It’s worth pointing out that Chris Bishop was also acting CRO at Conga for a time, so it might be worth checking back in with this article.
