Betches Media is targeting further growth opportunities with the appointment of Bill Mulvihill as its first executive VP of revenue partnerships. He’ll be tasked with leading the company’s commercial strategy as it grows into a multiplatform media entity.

Mulvihill joins Betches after spending six years at Condé Nast where he led multiplatform partnerships across media and entertainment, automotive, and spirits for magazines like Vanity Fair, Vogue, the New Yorker, and GQ. He also served as vice president and head of partnerships at the Atlantic.

“I was drawn to Betches because of the rare combination of ambition and authenticity; this is a company in growth mode, fueled by a brand that people genuinely love and respect,” Mulvihill said in a statement to Revenue Brew. “Betches is a social-first pioneer, and that foundation continues to set us apart and pay off in dividends.”

Mulvihill’s appointment at Betches follows a series of strategic moves that have grown the company into a media empire since launching as a blog created by three Cornell University seniors in 2011. The company, known for its viral Instagram memes, was acquired by British digital publisher LBG Media, owner of social-first media brands LADbible and Unilad, for $24 million in 2023.

Under LBG, Betches has expanded with the launch of Betches Sports (which partnered with the NFL) in late 2024, new fashion and lifestyle vertical Betches Style in September, and Betches UK in July.

“We’ve only just begun to scratch the surface of our market potential—our next chapter is all about accelerating growth, from deepening existing relationships with key clients and partners, scaling what works, and continuing to expand in areas like experiential and [our newer verticals] Betches Sports and Betches Style,” Mulvihill said.
