Brian Atwood joins CreatorIQ as chief sales officer

CreatorIQ is furthering its growth in the creator marketing landscape with the appointment of Brian Atwood as chief sales officer. The appointment comes at a time of great change for the CSO role, mainly in the areas of alignment and cross-functional collaboration.

Atwood comes to CreatorIQ with over 20 years of experience, including leadership roles at Adobe and Pixability, as well as operations roles at iHeartMedia and AOL.

“You take a little something away from everywhere you’ve been,” Atwood said. “Adobe is a marketing operating system. Anywhere from content to creativity to data, it runs the gamut. CreatorIQ has an opportunity to [be] and it is that for the creator economy.”

Growth spurt

Atwood’s appointment is the latest in a series of recent strategic hires by CreatorIQ; this summer it appointed Jennifer Cho as chief customer officer and Brig Graff as SVP of strategic services.

Atwood is tasked with growing enterprise sales globally, embarking and maintaining strategic partnerships, and refining the sales team’s go-to-market strategy.

“Our focus is going to be on revenue growth and our focus is going to be on delivering premium outcomes for our customers and partners,” Atwood said. “I don’t come into it with a cookie-cutter approach.”

Industry at scale

According to Statista, the global influencer marketing market size is projected to hit $32.5 billion this year.

“[CreatorIQ] sits at the center of it,” Atwood said. “As much as anything, the job is to connect creators to brands to produce outcomes that are premium and exemplary for both.”
